Let's be honest from the start: Seville is an inland city and has no sea beach. But it does have water and the loveliest golden light in Andalusia — the banks of the Guadalquivir in Triana, the pools and rooftops of the hotels, and the Atlantic coast of Cádiz just over an hour away if real sand is what you want.
A summery shoot here is about that: the river's reflection at sunset, feet in the water by the Triana bridge, a swim in a pool with a view, or a day trip to Bolonia or a Costa de la Luz beach. I lay out the options honestly so you choose what truly fits your plan.
No empty promises or invented backdrops. We work with what Seville and its surroundings genuinely offer, and we make the most of it with good light and good judgement.
The water options, one by one
The Guadalquivir bank is the most Sevillian option and the most convenient: the Triana promenade, the water mirroring the sky at sunset, the rowing boats and the Isabel II bridge behind. It gives bright, very city-like images, perfect for a summery look without leaving the centre.
For something more resort-like, hotel rooftops and pools with views of the Giralda offer the classic summer feel — towel, swimsuit, cocktail and a skyline of rooftops. It needs an arrangement with the venue, and I help you find the right place for your dates.
And if what you truly want is sea and sand, we organise a day trip to the Costa de la Luz: Bolonia with its great dune, the open beaches of Cádiz or Conil, Atlantic water and clean light. It's the most complete option for authentic beach photos, allowing for the travel time.
Season, logistics and delivery
The summer feel works from May to October, but Seville's heat in July and August is extreme, so we shoot at sunrise or sunset, when the light by the river is honey and the temperature is bearable. For the Costa de la Luz trip, late spring and early autumn give quieter beaches and pleasant water.
A session by the Guadalquivir or at a pool lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. The coast excursion is half a day or a full day, because you have to add an hour to an hour and a half of driving each way; we plan that separately.
The price is from €150 for the session in Seville. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos in five to ten days. The beach trip, with its travel and extra time, is quoted to measure at booking, with no surprises.
